Conservation. Training. Community.
Extended Horizons is striving to make conservation and education available even when you’re not here on Maui! Taught by Extended Horizons Instructors, our On Demand ONLINE courses are a way to learn about diving and marine ecology from home! You’ll have access to the course material with your own log-in, and you can start/stop whenever is convenient for your schedule. Our courses allow you to go at your own pace through the lessons.
ONLINE Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox)
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty course. Why? Because diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no-decompression time, especially on repetitive dives. If your air consumption is low, and staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then do NOT hesitate to become an enriched air diver; start the eLearning for this course today and move at your own pace through the lessons.
Upon completion of the eLearning, we will schedule a Zoom session with an Extended Horizons Instructor to go through the final portion of your course and issue your new Specialty Card!
This course is available to anyone who holds an Open Water Certification.
ONLINE Peak Performance Buoyancy
Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. Learn to glide effortlessly through the water, use less air, and ascend, descend, or hover almost naturally. Peak buoyancy also makes it easier to observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. Do you want to master your buoyancy? Take this online course to learn about the concepts involved from our Instructors, at your own pace.

When it’s time to go diving, we highly suggest you book an EcoDive dive with us. These small group dives allow you to build on the knowledge you gained in your Course, through a focused intent on the dive! EcoDives are guided tours with an emphasis on various conservation topics.
